Content marketing is all about taking a buyer-first approach. You have to make sure that you’re adding value to the customer at every stage of their journey, and in order to do so effectively calls for both accurate and precise content. But it’s impossible to create content at that caliber without knowing who it’s for.

For our eighth monthly meetup Lena Prickett gave a great presentation about building your personas. There’s great actionable advice on topics like interviewing customers to make accurate profiles, and how often you should maintain your personas.
